Evgeny Pobozhiy Quintet

Evgeny Pobozhiy is a famous jazz and fusion virtuoso guitarist and composer, one of the leaders of Moscow jazz scene. As a member of numerous projects of Igor Butman including Igor Butman Quintet and Moscow Jazz Orchestra he added a perfect sound of his versatile guitar to dozens of international projects which featured Wynton Marsalis, Herbie Hancock, Manhattan Transfer, Dee Dee Bridgewater and other superstars.

Pobozhiy is fueling a fast growth of his solo career by creating international projects with young jazz stars from USA, Europe, Asia and Russia. His latest musical videos featuring Federico Malaman, Anton Davidyants and Gergo Borlai became viral on Youtube. Evgeny's main project is his Quintet which consists of the topmost Russian musicians of modern generation. Quintet's repertoire is based on Evgeny's original music, and his tunes thrill with a smart combination of jazz, funk, hip hop, world and modern classical music.
