Alexander Dovgopoly, a brilliant multi-instrumentalist and bari saxophone/flute player at Moscow Jazz Orchestra, is known not only as a sideman, but as a powerful bandleader and Russia’s top smooth jazz saxophonist. Known as a master of a hard groove, beautiful harmonies and sensual melodies, Alexander and his band have thrilled the audiences of the biggest Russian jazz festivals for the last 3 years.
Dovgopoly’s vibrant and melodious music is frequently broadcasted by Radio Jazz (Russia), smoothjazzsitges.com and numerous internet radios. In 2017 he presented his first EP Free at the Butman Music label. In 2019 he released Rain Samba single, a super hit of his band's live performances.
