Karina Kartashova is a young jazz pianist, composer, and arranger who has made a name for herself at competitions such as Gnesin Jazz, Piano in Jazz, and others. She collaborates with the Sergey Dolzhenkov Orchestra and the C-jam Club Jazz Orchestra. The idea for the composition "Rain" came to Karina spontaneously: "One hot summer day, I was sitting at home at the piano. Suddenly, it became dark outside, almost like night. Thunder rumbled, and a heavy downpour began. For some reason, this made me feel happy, and the phrase "pour, don't be stingy" came to mind, which later became the unifying element of the entire song," the composer shares.
