Yaroslava Simonova

Meet Yaroslava Simonova, a singer, a pianist and a young composer! Yaroslava began showing interest in playing piano at the age of two. When she was six, she entered the piano department of The Central Music College at the PI Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory, where she continues to study. Despite being born with extremely poor eyesight, Yaroslava is an artist of a unique talent: she has a perfect ear and plays all compositions only from memory. For Yaroslava music is the whole world! She sings, plays the piano and composes music in different styles. She is also the leader of a young, but already remarkable band performing music of various genres: from classical and jazz to rock and funk! Yaroslava is particularly passionate about singing jazz. Thanks to the support and creative instruction of Igor Butman, who has always played a significant role in Yaroslava’s progress in jazz, the young artist was able to take part in grand concerts, such as the concert in honor of the 100th anniversary of Frank Sinatra at the

International House of Music, in Moscow, Russia. She also performed with Igor Butman and Moscow Jazz Orchestra at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris, France and On Stage Kingsborough in New York, and took part in the biggest Russian jazz festivals: “Aquajazz” in Sochi and “Jazz Seasons” in Moscow, Russia. Yaroslava shared the stage with great musicians such as: Igor Butman and Moscow Jazz Orchestra, Mireille Mathieu, Allen Harris, Nikolay Levinovsky, Conrad Herwig, Anthony Strong, Vadim Eilenkrig and many others.
